What matters before choosing this ceiling work

Fixture checks shape the work plan

Electrical fixtures need attention before ceiling texture is disturbed. We identify nearby lights, switches, and connected parts so protection and access are addressed in the agreed scope.

Paint layers affect surface preparation

Paint over texture can change how the ceiling is handled and prepared. Our team reviews the surface before work begins, then explains which repairs and finishing steps belong in the agreement.

The ceiling may need a different job

Popcorn Ceiling Removal is the wrong job when the main issue requires a separate ceiling repair or inspection first. We discuss that limit during the free consultation instead of treating every ceiling as the same.

These guys did an awesome job! They have a well trained team that works closely together to get the job done on time and on budget. They also did a number of other repairs on the interior and exterior ( removed dry rot, repair drywall, etc.) before they could even start the painting. I would highly recommend them!

We had been putting off painting our house because there is never a great time to do so. After we decided to do it, we got 6 bids, some where very low, with low grade products, other very high with outrageous considerations, Jeff and his team came dead in the middle with amazing notes from the first visit, careful workmanship and with top of the line quality product. Scheduling was a breeze with Lorena make it so easy for us even with a busy schedule during the summer. The best experience we've had, we basically did not notice the team was working. They arrived every day super early, left the area pristine, and delivered a great quality outcome in the entire exterior job. We are super happy with the pain, the look and all the recommendation and fixes the team did. We will definitely work with 365Painting Solutions for all of our future painting needs. Thank you for making this experience simple and painless.

365 Painting Solutions did an excellent job on painting the entire interior of our house. The whole crew is so helpful and the process was so easy. We can't say enough about how thrilled we are with the end result. Jeff and Lorena did a great job helping us pick the perfect color! Efrain and the crew were a pleasure to have in the house and the careful workmanship was amazing.

Questions about removing textured ceilings

What should be checked before removing popcorn ceiling texture for Popcorn Ceiling Removal?

Electrical fixtures should be checked before popcorn texture is removed. Light fixtures, switches, and connected parts can affect access and room protection. Paint layers, ceiling damage, and ventilation also need review. Thomas J. Painting discusses these conditions during the free consultation, then explains the agreed preparation and finishing work.

How do paint layers change the ceiling work plan?

Paint layers can change the preparation needed after texture removal. The ceiling surface may need closer review before repairs or painting are included. Our team checks the visible layers and explains how they affect the agreement. The final scope can include surface preparation, related repairs, painting, and cleanup when those items fit the project.

Which room conditions affect popcorn texture removal?

Room access, furnishings, fixtures, ventilation, and visible ceiling damage affect the work plan. We protect floors and nearby surfaces before work begins. A free consultation gives us a chance to review the room and discuss what must be moved, covered, repaired, or included in the painting scope.

When should I request a ceiling assessment?

A ceiling assessment makes sense before texture removal when the surface has paint layers, visible damage, or nearby fixtures. Thomas J. Painting reviews the room during a free consultation and discusses the work agreement. Early review helps separate texture removal from repairs or painting that need their own scope.

Why does room protection matter during this work?

Room protection keeps ceiling work contained around floors, furnishings, walls, and millwork. We use floor paper, plastic, or carpet coverings as needed for the work area. Protection is planned before removal starts, and cleanup follows the agreed painting and preparation work.

What should I prepare before the consultation?

Clear access to the ceiling helps us review the work area during the consultation. Photos or notes about visible damage can also help explain your goals, but an in-home meeting remains part of the process. We then discuss texture removal, repairs, painting, protection, and cleanup before developing an agreement.
